Toolkit

Move off cash checklist.

A short list for the treasurer who still has an envelope and a notebook. You do not have to refuse cash. The aim is one list of who has paid, whether they paid by card or handed you notes.

What moving off cash means

It means the join link is how most people pay, and anything taken by hand is written into the same list that week. It does not mean the club stops taking cash at the AGM. A recorded cash payment has no online fee.

Tick the items as you go. The ticks stay in this browser, on this computer. They are not saved to a club account. County pages for each sport are on all counties. The fee is on Pricing, and memberships are on Features.

Questions

Do we have to stop taking cash?

No. Record cash, a bank transfer or a cheque. Those payments have no online fee. The checklist is so they are not only in an envelope.

Are the ticks saved to our club?

No. They stay in this browser. Another computer, or a cleared browser, starts the list again. Nothing is sent to subs.ie.

When do reminders start?

When the club is set up and you choose the days. They count from the due date, never more than one every three days, and they stop once the member has paid.

What does an online payment cost?

One fee on each online payment, including VAT and the card fees. The pricing page shows the rate. The club decides whether it covers the fee or the member sees it.
